Legality & Compliance

Is it legal to own an offshore company or trust?

Yes, for citizens of virtually every country. What the law requires is disclosure: most countries ask you to report foreign companies, trusts, and accounts, and to pay whatever tax applies at home. Every structure we build is designed to be reported and to hold up under scrutiny.

Will I still have to pay taxes in my home country?

Usually yes — an offshore structure is not, by itself, a way to stop paying tax where you live. What it changes is protection, succession, privacy, and flexibility. Genuine tax advantages depend on your residence and citizenship, which is why we encourage every client to involve a tax advisor, and coordinate with them on request.

Is my privacy still protected if everything is reported?

Yes. Reporting means your own tax authority knows — it does not mean the public knows. In the jurisdictions we use, ownership details are not published in open registries, so your affairs stay out of casual searches, business disputes, and data-mining, while remaining fully lawful.

Why do you ask for identity and source-of-funds documents?

Because every reputable registered agent, trustee, and bank requires it — and because it protects you. Structures built by providers who skip due diligence attract exactly the scrutiny you want to avoid. Standard requirements are a certified passport copy, proof of address, and documentation appropriate to your source of funds.

Process & Timing

How long does everything take?

Typical timelines: corporations two to four weeks, trusts one to three weeks once documents are ready, Panama foundations one to two weeks, bank accounts from days to a few weeks depending on the institution. Your written plan includes the timeline for your specific combination.

Do I need to travel?

Almost never. Company and foundation formations are fully remote, trusts are executed by correspondence, and most banking relationships open remotely. A small number of premium banks prefer to meet clients in person — if that applies to you, we tell you before you commit.

Can you work with my existing lawyer or tax advisor?

Gladly — it usually produces the best result. We handle the international structuring; your advisor confirms home-country treatment. We are happy to speak with them directly.

What happens after I place an order?

A member of our team contacts you personally within one business day to confirm details, collect due-diligence documents, and start the work. You have one point of contact from start to finish.

Banking

Can I really open a bank account without visiting?

With most of the institutions we work with, yes — identification is verified remotely through certified documents and video calls. We match you to institutions whose requirements fit your profile before anything is submitted, which is what keeps approval rates high.

What does Monaco private banking require?

Monaco banks serve substantial relationships and choose their clients carefully; minimums vary by institution. That is why our Monaco service starts with a confidential pre-qualification — we confirm the fit before any introduction is made, and if Monaco is not realistic we say so and propose alternatives.

Which currencies can I hold?

All major currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, and others depending on the institution — within a single relationship, with SWIFT and SEPA payment capability and online banking as standard.

Costs

What does it cost?

Our pricing is published on the Services & Fees page: complete packages from $2,900, individual services from $750. Setup fees are one-time; structures carry an annual renewal that covers agents, government fees, and administration.

Are there hidden fees?

No. Packages are all-inclusive, and for services priced 'from', the final quote is confirmed with you in writing before any work begins. Annual renewals are invoiced transparently — never charged automatically.

What if I am not sure what I need?

Start with the free consultation or the Planning Center. If a single corporation does the job, that is what we will recommend — over-structuring helps nobody, and most of our business comes by referral precisely because we scope honestly.

A note on compliance: GCC Offshore assists exclusively with lawful international structuring. Offshore structures are legal when properly reported; clients remain responsible for meeting the tax and disclosure obligations of their home country, and we encourage every client to work with a qualified tax advisor. We conduct standard due diligence on all new clients.
